Multi-tasking is nothing new to Kelly Swoope. Here at ABC2 she divides her time between co-anchoring the 5 & 6pm news and reporting on health stories that are important to viewers.

At home, she enjoys spending time with her husband Tim and their daughter Taylor. Longtime viewers may remember Kelly’s first visit to Baltimore…a guest appearance for the ABC2 News team in October 2002.

During the sniper shooting spree, Kelly was one of several reporters from Scripps Howard to come and help out in our coverage. She liked it so much, she decided to come back and make Baltimore her home. Prior to Baltimore, Kelly worked in Tampa, Milwaukee and Cincinnati at WCPO, another Scripps Howard station.

Kelly is a graduate of Bowling Green State University, and has won many awards for her stories that depict the everyday challenges people face.

For fun, Kelly loves traveling, shopping, and working out. Kelly is involved with Jack and Jill of America Inc, and Mocha Moms.
